@aedmeig38 That's what it sounded like to me, too. From a political standpoint, Obama would've gained a lot more by hammering the banks. He decided that would be bad for the economy, though. I'm not at all sure he was right in that judgment, but the 2010 elections prove conclusively that he didn't get political gain out of going easy on the banks.
