  1. Should the winning team have just started taking a knee 4 plays in a row every time they got the ball starting in the 2nd quarter? That would've been even even more humiliating, telling the losing team that they're not even worth treating like a competitor.

  2. The winning team had the 2nd string players in during the 1st quarter. They had the 3rd string in before halftime. They were running the ball up the middle, not pulling trick plays or throwing long bombs. What else should they have done? If they had just stopped playing entirely, that would've been the ultimate display of contempt to the losing team. It's an athletic competition. Sometimes the other team is just better. Sometimes you lose. Sometimes you even get your ass handed to you.

  3. 21 points = just 3 touchdowns. Teams can and do come back from that and more. It's very possible for a team to make up a 21 point deficit in 5 minutes or less.
