@PerceivedREALITY999 Literally nothing you said there is true. There was no "2014 Maidan coup". The government of Ukraine is the parliament, not the president, and was not overthrown. Peaceful protests are not a coup, and there is no civil war in Ukraine.

Literally nothing you said here is true, Mattimeo. Not a single word of it. Ukraine did not continue attacks on Donbas, and the Russian troops were from the start a full-scale invasion, not "peacekeepers". You are simply regurgitating Russian propaganda.

@PerceivedREALITY999 Copy-pasting that lie won't make it stop being a lie. There was no "2014 Maidan coup". Peaceful protest is not a coup. The democratically elected government was never overthrown. I suppose as an American you don't have much concept of how a foreign government is structured, but in Ukraine the government is the Verkhovna Rada (the parliament), not the presidency. And there was no "civil war" either. There was a Russian invasion, and the "rebels" in Donbas are actaully just Russian Army and Spetsnaz with their uniforms removed.

@PerceivedREALITY999 You "know" lots of things that weren't actually true. You're just copy-pasting the same argument that I already refuted. There was no "Maidan coup", and there was no civil war. The Maidan protests weren't about claims of a rigged election. And the elected government never got overthrown. Russia created this entire conflict, as a means of seizing territory from Ukraine. There "efforts to establish a peaceful resolution" were a farce.

@PerceivedREALITY999 They didn't "wait almost 8 years". Russia has been undermining Ukraine's sovereignty the whole time. The last 8 years were spent consolidating their control of Crimea and weakening Ukraine with the so-called "rebels" in Donbas.

@PerceivedREALITY999 It had noting to do with "security" and everything to do with Russia simply wanting Ukraine's land and not accepting that Ukraine is a sovereign country. And the "referendum" was a blatant sham, conducting at gunpoint and allowing the invading Russian soldiers to vote as if they were part of Crimea's population.
