  5. Bev Indeed. People defending Alex Jones here failing to grasp that freedom of association is also fundamental to the 1st Amendment (as unanimously ruled by SCOTUS in NAACP v. Alabama). Youtube can't be forced to give a platform to everyone. They've been ridiculously lenient to Jones for years, letting him get off with just warnings for his hate speech, incitement to violence, and direct threats of violence. The finally decided that his open defiance of the site's clearly-stated rules had gone on for long enough, and kicked him out.
