  1. That would be a very interesting scenario, especially with regard to what happens to the rest of the war going forward. If the High Seas Fleet did win, though, national pride would dictate that Britain must remain in the war no matter what. Such a shocking defeat would have to be avenged, or else no one would the Royal Navy anymore.

  3.  @misterjag  Also, the numbers (even as limited as they were to begin with on account of insufficient testing) can't necessarily even be believed anymore. Florida's state government is outright refusing to report COVID deaths anymore, for example. And trying to pressure local health departments to do the same. That's the 3rd most populous state in the US, and with an older population since it's such a popular place to retire to.
