@igooooorrrrr There was a torpedo sighted during the Battle of the Denmark Strait that could only have been fired by Hood. And during the final battle with Bismarck, Rodney fired torpedoes at Bismarck and claimed to have scored one hit. The latter was the only time a battleship ever hit anything with a torpedo. It should be noted that most battleships built with torpedoes were pre-WW1 designs, and the torpedoes had quite short range. As such, they generally wouldn't even get close enough to a target to fire them. But the Nelson-class battleships' 24.5" Mk I had range settings of 15,000 and 20,000 yards.
