  1. When the "arsenal ship" concept was conceived in the 1980s, imagine if Kentucky had actually been completed as one of those "missile battleship" concepts. If she'd still been in reserve like the gun-armed Iowas, we might well have seen them actually make an arsenal ship by stripping everything off Kentucky and filling her with as many Mark 41 VLS as would fit.

  2. The hilarious part is that World of Warships used the 457mm armed version of Project 24. The one that even Stalin found too ridiculous and said "stick to 406mm or go to gulag" about.
