Especially since anybody wanting a quick buck can take any animal part and declare it "traditional Chinese medicine", regardless of whether it was ever actually used for anything in ancient China. Like how the coelacanth was never present in China to begin with, yet alleged "traditional Chinese medicine practitioners" deem its bones and scales to be medicinal.
