  1.  @pozzyvibes6997  The problem is that the UK failed to realize that Germany was actually even less ready for war in 1938. And that by sacrificing Czechoslovakia, the UK and France were both throwing away a strong ally (one that prior to German annexation of the Sudetenland had highly defensible borders) and also making Germany stronger by giving them all of the Czech weapons and industry. War with Britain and France in 1938 would've gone very badly for Germany. It's no exaggeration to say that British and French desperation to avoid World War II was a major cause of World War II.
