  2. Yeah, saying that Moldovan is a separate language from Romanian is like saying that "American" and "Canadian" are separate languages from English.

  4. The Principality of Moldavia was called Moldova in Romanian. It's just more convenient to call it Moldavia because that makes it clear which one we're talking about. And yes, modern Moldova is only the eastern half of Moldavia that got stolen by Russia. The western half of Moldavia remains part of Romania.

  5.  @Veaceslav-eo2gf  "Wallachia" was an exonym. Its actual name was "Țara Românească", meaning "Romanian Country". The Romanian language has existed for over 1300 years. Try again.
