There was no "FBI involvement" in the insurrection, and Pelosi had no say in whether National Guard were present. Trump never made any such offer, and in fact he's the one who blocked the National Guard from being deployed until the attack had already been ongoing for several hours.

@growingforbroke1072 They forced the head of the Capitol Police to resign because he was personally responsible for the low manpower and lack of riot control equipment at the Capitol on January 6. He's lucky he was only fired and not indicted.

@growingforbroke1072 Trump didn't ask for more security. The chief of the Capitol Police also didn't ask for more security. He was the one who refused to deploy the entire Capitol Police force in advance and dictated that they not be equipped with riot gear. And Nancy Pelosi is not the "head of Congress" either. She's the Speaker of the House. She's in charge of the House of Representatives only and not the entire Congress. There is no "head of Congress" at all. The House and the Senate are entirely independent of each other. This whole notion that the Speaker of the House is in charge of Capitol security is a farce.
