Retiring the Vulcan should've involved replacing it with even more reach, like the GAU-8/A Avenger. I'd have gone for basically a land-based Goalkeeper. @usaisthebestiockdownpoiice816 Yeah, few companies can do corruption like Lockheed. Just look at how the F-104 Starfighter ended up so widely used (often in ground attack roles that a pure interceptor was poorly-suited for).

It's interesting how every "failed" DIVAD competitor seems to have been superior to the winner. Almost as if the competition was rigged to give Ford the contract.

@jbc-3975 The US should have gone with the CV90105 to be the Booker. It seems like a better option than the Griffin II that was actually chosen.
