  11.  @victor2krk  The Ukraine military has not been on record saying it wants to destroy the dam. They've said they considered destroying the dam as a last resort. Why exactly would this be a "last resort" situation, given that the war is going in Russia's favor. Meanwhile, Russia has a very clear benefit to be gained right now by preventing Ukraine from crossing the Dnieper. Russia is also the nation that had the opportunity to destroy the dam. It was blown up from the inside. Russia had access to the dam to do that, while Ukraine did not.

  12. What Bernie did in 2016 was much worse. He had already lost the election, and asked that the superdelegates to switch sides to him anyway. He was making this argument in late June, when every vote had already been cast and Hillary had 55.2% of the popular vote and 54.4% of the pledged delegates. It wasn't a hypothetical scenario he was speculating about, Bernie was literally saying that the election should've been overturned to make him the nominee. Also, eliminating superdelgates isn't sufficient. What actually needs to be done is eliminating delegates entirely. Just hold a primary in every state, on the same day nationwide. Whoever has a majority of votes becomes the nominee. If nobody has a majority, then hold a runoff a week later. Or better yet, use ranked choice voting in the primary. No more caucuses, no more different rules for different states, no more Iowa and New Hampshire getting inflated importance because they go first. Just a simple nationwide election. With the voters and no one else getting to decide the nominee.

  40. Those rockets last year are not what caused the dam to collapse. There was an explosion from inside the dam. Which could only have been caused by planting bombs inside it, and since Russian troops were in control of the dam they're the only ones wh ocould've done so.

You could fire eight hundred of those rockets at a dam of this size and it wouldn't collapse. What those videos you reference show are internal explosions, meaning that bombs were placed inside the dam and set to detonate on a timer. Which is why the Russian troops in the area all evacuated the flood zone before the explosion.
