@jakleo337 If you look at both Chinese and Indian warships, you'll see one obvious difference right away: their ships are clean. They don't allow the rust to build up. China and India both seem to have a far better grasp than Russia on the concept of maintenance.

@KnightsWithoutATable And that's why Russia hasn't built another carrier. The ex-Varyag didn't have engines, so they were unable to just steal that one from Ukraine like they did Kuznetsov, and the Chernomorsky Shipyard (as it was then known) in Mykolaiv was the only one in the entire Soviet Union that was capable of building an aircraft carrier. And unlike China (who'd built up the Dalian and Jiangnan shipyards to that level), Russia has been unable to bring any of their own shipyards up to that standard. If Russia were competent, they'd have shipyards in at least Saint Petersburg, Severodvinsk, and Vladivostok capable of maintaining Kuznetsov and possibly building new carriers. But since it's Russia, they don't. And thus Kuznetsov has literally never been properly maintained.
