  12. Just because John Mearsheimer has a PhD doesn't make him a serious commentator. His claims are complete and utter bullshit. I completely disagree that Mearsheimer's "neutral Ukraine" proposal was remotely realistic. Ironically, 20 years ago Mearsheimer was 100% right about Ukraine: he advocated that they should keep their nuclear weapons for protection against Russian aggression.

  21. If Russia doesn't pull large amounts of troops away from Donbas to defend Kursk Oblast? Fine, then Ukraine should keep pushing eastward and capture the city of Kursk itself. Then hold an "annexation referendum". Also, the longer it takes Russia to respond, the more Ukraine can fortify the area they've captured.
