@griffinarcher2911 Trump was literally born as a millionaire. It's all inherited.

@griffinarcher2911 Trump didn't in fact multiply his inheritance. Aside from the fact that he's always claimed vastly greater wealth than he actually has, Trump has lost more money than he made. Had he put his entire inheritance into a simple mutual fund (let alone done any decent investing), he would have more than double his current wealth by this point.

There less less than zero chance they'd be willing to sell Greenland. Denmark has already promised independence to Greenland, and the Greenlanders will absolutely not accept US territory status.

@andreww4751 Trump is not one of the richest people in the world, and LMAO at that "against the whole system" nonsense. Trump supporters are a cult.

@nkohler5601 "There is as far as I know no article in NATO to deal with hostility between member states so that is out." You're completely wrong about that. Article 5 applies even if the attacker is a member state.

@KRAMITDFROG No, it's very much an issue of intelligence. Trump is very stupid. He also lies constantly, even if he has no rational reason to lie. Because he's a pathological liar. He'll lie even if it would benefit him to tell the truth.

@namenloser5885 You're beyond stupid if you think that would work.

The real reason that Trump wants to buy Greenland is that he was told it's not for sale last time he was President. There's nothing Trump hates more than being told "no". And yes, it's really that simple. Also, the comparison of Alaska is asinine. Alaska is not a country, and never was.

@dirremoire Denmark has already told the US to get bent.

@noctwice Greenland is a NATO member, that's who protects it.
1
@rubyxfinity8634 Delusional. There is zero chance that Greenlanders would go for that. A paltry amount of money and in exchange they have to become an US territory and live with the horror show that is the American healthcare system?
1
@slomo4672 No, it does not. Becoming a US territory would involve Greenland giving up all of its autonomy, which there isn't enough money in the world to get them to do.
