  3.  @lesgilbert50  Nah, if he'd gotten on the Supreme Court we never would've had to worry about him being Attorney General. And at least he would've blocked a seat from being taken by somebody far worse. He would've probably been a completely forgettable Supreme Court justice, but his timidity wouldn't have been actively harmful there. Judges don't need to be aggressive, but prosecutors do.
