@tetraxis3011 Danish F-16s already have AMRAAM capability. Of course, that doesn't mean much since the US probably isn't selling AMRAAMs to Argentina.

@FallenPhoenix86 India probably wants to be able to domestically source all the parts anyway. They're clearly trying to make their defense industry self-sufficient.

Pretty sure Gripens include British components, so that was probably the issue.

Argentina can't afford J-10s. Just like they couldn't afford new-production F-16s. There's a reason their previous wish-list items were second-tier fighters like the FA-50 and JF-17. Their defense budget doesn't have room for 4.5-gen fighters.
