@yousefmahgoob4876 Poland is a NATO member, so it would be Russia who commits suicide if they actaully attacked Poland over such a move. And as far as giving up large numbers of tanks? Poland just bought 250 M1A2 Abrams SEPv3 tanks. That should do nicely to replace their 232 PT-71s. They also have 382 even older T-72s of various models. That's 614 tanks that Ukrainian crews would have little difficulty operating. The T-72 isn't Ukraine's primary tank (the sold off most of the ones they inherited, because they have the factory that built the T-80 and thus it was easier to standardize on), they still retained enough that their maintenance crews will know how to handle them. (Something that's helped with dozens of T-72s and a handful of T-90s captured from Russia.) Since Poland's new Abrams also put them on the path to fully standardizing on NATO 120mm, that also means their large stockpile of 125mm ammunition will soon be of little use, but would be very useful to Ukraine.
