  1. The Shinden might well have ended up as successful as the Saab 21 if circumstances had allowed its continued development. Also almost certainly would've ended up with a jet version like the Saab 21R, since Kyushu Aircraft Company already had that in mind for the future when they built the 2 prototypes.
