@cuzr702 That's the literal opposite of reality. Anyone who "can't govern without immunity" is somebody who we should never allow to govern.

@janicealexander2142 You're delusional.
5
@Butchsiek None of these prosecutions are "politically biased".
5
Yes, every President is subject to the law just like all other Americans.
5
They "failed to mention" this because it's not true. Smith is very much qualified to prosecute such cases.
4
No, the Senate did not say "not guilty". The Senate was 10 votes short of conviction. While the media has characterized this as "acquittal", the far more accurate way to describe it would be a hung jury.
4
There is no law that grants Trump immunity.
3
@easyrider1776 Yes, Trump did in fact do exactly that.
3
@Kimba-HereMeRoar No, they aren't. It's only Trump who's an embarrassment.
2
@auggies The "two tiered justice system" is why Trump didn't go to prison decades ago. The rich and famous get special treatment, that's the two tiered justice system.
2
@nonyabiz1209 Santos was not removed "immediately" at all. It took well over a year.
2
@adamtedder1012 What you're upset about is that the outcome wasn't fixed in the 2020 election. You thought Trump should've automatically won, and thus were outraged that the American voters decided otherwise.
2
@EpochUnlocked Trump didn't declare any of those documents to be declassified. And it would be irrelevant to the charges against him even if he had.
2
@chrispfeifer7628 That's exactly what the MAGA cult thinks.
1
@cuzr702 None of our founders ever supported the nonsense concept of presidential immunity. That would've turned the President into the exact kind of unaccountable king that they'd just rebelled against, after all. There is nothing in the Constitution that even hints at such immunity.
1
@JohnDoe-ew3xt It's highly beneficial to Trump that they waited so long to charge him. If the trials had begun last year, Trump would already be in prison now.
1
@antonio_g237 You bought the bullshit claim that Russia collusion was a hoax.
1
@JohnDoe-ew3xt No, it doesn't seem excessive at all. In fact, Trump has committed a lot more than just 91 crimes.
1
@generalbiochemistryi8498 There is nothing of the sort to be found anywhere in the Constitution. The Constitution does not include anything that prevents a former President from being prosecuted for their acts in office. This notion that a former President can only be prosecuted if they were impeached by the House and removed by the Senate is nonsense without a shred of constitutional basis.
1
Good old Republican bullshit claims that because Trump is a political candidate, that should render him above the law. While those very same Republicans gleefully chanted "lock her up" about Hillary in 2016, and likewise want Biden jailed for the "crime" of winning the 2020 election.
1
Nixon "needed" a pardon because it was very obvious that he was going to be prosecuted once he left office.
1
You mean Ivy League schools like the one Donald Trump went to?
1
@GoodisBest4u January 6 was treason, not patriotism.
1
@donnaboyd6232 Donald Trump has no balls at all. He's a coward.
1
@charlesyoung2530 Republicans project everything. Every accusation they make is actually a confession.
1
@EpochUnlocked Trump very much was not acting within the law. Jack Smith absolutely has made a case that Trump acted outside the law. That's why Trump is being prosecuted in the first place.
