Picking Tulsi Gabbard would be literally disqualifying. She's a Republican pretending to be a Democrat. She's far too conservative.

You mean just like every single other time when a candidate has picked somebody who ran against them in the primary for VP?
2
Because why would they want Bernie to pick a conservative?
2
@unclebozo9845 She doesn't have an anti-war stance. She's only opposed to "regime change wars". She's all-in for the permanent "war on terrorism", though.

A lot of Bernie supporters seem to just love the idea of Nina Turner as VP because she's been a vocal supporter of him for the last 5 years. They don't seem to care whether she's actually qualified for the job.
1
No Trump voters. Voting for Trump is a sign that Ojeda is too stupid for the job.
1
What about Tulsi? She's a Republican.
1
Because when that's the only position on her resume, she's not qualified to be VP.
1
You mean like how Bernie "stuck around" even after he'd already lost, and lobbied the superdelegates to overturn the primary and annoint him as the nominee?
1
How has she been "supporting" Sanders by running against him? And it's pretty much only Republicans who like Tulsi Gabbard. Which is exactly why she doesn't belong on the ticket.

The Green Party in the US isn't a serious political party. It's not in Britain where there's actually a Green Party MP, or Canada where there's 3 Green Party MPs. In the US, the party is irrelevant and only serves to give Jill Stein a platform for her vanity presidential campaigns. Also, the Democratic Party "needs to fall in line with its voters"? You're presuming that a majority of voters are for Bernie as the nominee. He's polling at 30% nationally. If Bernie wins the nomination, he probably won't have a majority of the popular vote. So yes, he absolutely would need to compromise with the rest of the party. The claim that "it's Bernie's party now" is premature.
1
Why? What qualification does she have for the job?
1
@GlobalTransformationProject Quit spamming.
1
@homayounshirazi9550 Shut up, Republican. Quit pretending to be a progressive while spreading Republican lies.
1
@smallpseudonym2844 He can't do any of that work in the first place unless he wins the election. Remember how so many Bernie supporters were enraged at Hillary because she didn't pick Bernie for VP, and instead picked a centrist? Do you think that centrists and center-left voters wouldn't have a similar reaction to Bernie if he doubles down on the left and tells the center to fuck off?
1
It's important that a VP be qualified and competent. Personal loyalty isn't a substitute for actually knowing how to do the job.
1
At no point has she "smeared" Bernie. What she did, which you seem to find unforgivable, is run against him instead of bending the knee and endorsing him.
1
@simonsze5324 The problem isn't that her youth would impair doing the job. The problem is that it's illegal for somebody below the age of 35 to be VP.

Honesty and integrity? Tulsi Gabbard? Give me a damn break. She's a DINO with a conservative voting record and literally interviewed with Trump for the Secretary of State job back in 2016. She faked being a progressive to win elections in Hawaii, and now is running in the Democratic primary in order to sabotage Democrats from within. Nothing about her can be trusted.
