He absolutely did. Yang used to say he supported Medicare for All. Then in the last month he said he supported it "in spirit". And then he released his health care plan that clearly isn't M4A.

@paradoxmo And Medicare Disadvantage will hopefully be abolished in the process. Its whole reason for existence was to let Republicans stick their foot into the door for eventual privatization of Medicare.

@magellanphone In effect, yes. Since his plan would greatly expand what medical treatment is covered by Medicare, in addition to expanding it to cover all Americans.

@rolandparnaso4612 The idea that M4A would be "worse insurance" is BS, though. And no, Bernie is not the only one who can have a M4A plan. But Yang's plan explicitly is not M4A.

@ColonelCampbellAI2024 Medicare for All has a very obvious meaning. It means Medicare. For everybody. A proposal that does not result in everybody getting Medicare is not Medicare for All.
