  2.  @JefffromtheEmpire  And yet, he still joined two years after Greenpeace was actually founded. No matter how often he was referred to as a "founder" in the past, it's still factually inaccurate.

  3.  @stevenjones7202  It began under the name "Don't Make a Wave Committee ", on November 28, 1969. The name "Greenpeace" was coined for their initial voyage during a meeting of the group in 1970. In 1972 they officially changed the name to "Greenpeace Foundation". Thus, Patrick Moore joined after the group already existed, but but before it had officially renamed itself Greenpeace.

  4.  @stevenjones7202  The initial voyage wasn't just something thrown together, there was a year of planning. And the "Don't Make a Wave Committee" is Greenpeace. They literally simply changed the name in 1972.
