Seems to be inspired by the Soviet BRDM-2 (the silhouettes are incredibly similar), but a bit larger and better-armed, and probably more reliable since it lacks the BRDM's retractable auxiliary wheels (something that usually gets removed in post-Cold War BRDM upgrades by nations that can't afford outright replacement with modern vehicles).

  4. 9:43 I've also seen a photo circulating of an HWK-11 fitted with the Panhard ERC's 90mm turret. But since it's only the one photo, presumably it was a one-off experiment.
