Parliamentary sovereignty has been a fundamental aspect of British government since the Glorious Revolution . Or did the "globalists" plant the concept back in 1688 to stop Brexit from happening?

@samwright4420 And yet, Brexit is going to tear the UK apart. The current version of the deal is de facto reunification of Ireland, and there's sure to be another Scottish independence referendum in the near future.

This isn't about "permission" to leave. It's that the UK wants to leave the EU but keep all the benefits of access to the European market.

"Foreign migrants" who were born in Glasgow?

@st4331 Austerity always destroys the economy. There are worse things than government debt.
2
@arleygomez465 Almost as if things have dramatically changed since 2014. Hence the SNP's popularity. England and Scotland have irreconcilable differences and it's time for a divorce.
2
@willmalin3752 Unfortunately, there's lots of irrational people who will vote.

It's the Tories who destroyed the UK. I look forward to the day when the UK ceases to exist, with Scotland and Northern Ireland leaving. But I suppose the Tories can rule over the Kingdom of England and Wales.

@seaweedseaside5905 Football hooliganism is not the same thing as racism.

The Brexit referendum was legally non-binding.

Supporting Israel and the fascist Likud does not equate to supporting Jews in Germany. AfD wants Jews to be "re-migrated" to Israel.

What is "ethnic British"? Are English, Scottish, Welsh, and Irish all the same ethnicity now?
1
@hothands6007 Go for it. Scotland and Ireland would be quite happy.

@mcfcguvnors I'll never understand why so many people want to "reform" the House of Lords, instead of just abolishing it.
1
@stawfiq5 So he was born in Glasgow, Pakistan?

Where did it not go wrong under Tory rule?

@juststunts2 The United Kingdom would quite literally cease to exist if Brexit had just been pushed through immediately without establishing any deals with Europe to maintain access to the market and to maintain the open Irish border. Unionism is already in decline in Northern Ireland. It remains the plurality position (for now), but no longer the majority. A "hard" or "no-deal" Brexit resulting in a closed border would almost certainly push the fence-sitters into the Irish nationalist camp. Brexit is also enormously unpopular in Scotland. Once Brexit goes through, and especially if it's a no-deal Brexit, that's going to bolster the Scottish independence movement. Now, Northern Ireland and Scotland could very well still end up leaving the UK. But if Brexit had just been rushed through 3 years ago immediately after the referendum, there's a good chance they would've already left.

Not like the Tories are doing any better in Scotland.

Her campaign says she's "not engaging with national media", but she's clearly not engaging with her constituents either.
