  1. The other purpose of the Liberator was to hurt German morale. For the occupation soldiers to never feel safe, because every civilian might have a tiny gun in their pocket.

  2.  @SimuLord  They also often fail to recognize that even if a new caliber has theoretical advantages over the "standard" ones we've been using for decades, there have to be guns worth owning that are chambered in it before anybody will care.
