  1. That's exactly how it went in China. Western guns were perceived as higher-quality, but very few Chinese people knew what the symbols and Latin alphabet text actually meant. So the amusing typos ("Wauser", etc) and nonsense text didn't automatically alert them that it's a copy.

  2.  @sbreheny  Yeah, if something like this were being made now, it would be more for the UK where they ban semi-autos in general. And where they don't have a constitutional right to bear arms, so getting it overturned is unlikley.

  3. That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw this. That it would be a nice gun for people in the UK and Australia, where semi-autos are all banned.
