  1. It's actually kind of surprising that the DShK isn't ".51 caliber", since that'd be an even 13mm. Which seems like it would've been a sensible caliber for for a fully metric nation like the USSR to have chosen. (The bullet diameter actually is .51 caliber/13mm, but the same is true for the American .50 BMG.)
