  1. Forgotten Weapons Jesse Sisolack  The Mexican gas-seal revolving carbines were made by Pieper rather than Nagant, and used a slightly larger 8mm cartridge of the same basic design. They also had a 9-round swing-out cylinder rather than the 1895 Nagant's inferior loading gate setup.
