  1. Yeah, as soon as I saw this thing I was figuring that must be unpleasant to shoot in 8mm Mauser. Honestly, I don't understand why 8mm Mauser became such a widespread caliber when 7mm Mauser was available. And it's not just because of gigantic stocks of German surplus rifles either; the trend of more and more nations adopting 8mm (even armies that previously used 7mm) had already been ongoing.
