@deniceeverham9467 Even attending the RNC contributes to normalizing the most radically anti-union President of all time.

@georgecurly5965 Tell me more about how the US invaded Cuba in 1962 and held a fake referendum to annex Guantánamo Province. Oh right, none of that ever happened. Cuba remained the USSR's ally, and Soviet submarines (including ones with nuclear missiles) continued to operate out of the naval base at Cienfuegos.

@eemoogee160 Russia never applied to join NATO. Putin was offended when he was told that Russia has to apply for membership and be unanimously accepted by the current members, just like any other nation. He thinks that Russia is too important to have to follow rules.
12
@pauloguerra391 Yes, Hersh is a 9/11 truther.
7
@DonDeering A "leader" who nobody follows is clearly not a leader at all.
6
Ignoring Hersh's fanfiction is the appropriate response for any serious news outlet.
6
@casey4602 Which is all the reason that should be needed for O'Brien to be ousted from the Teamsters. Hell, even if he had only donated a single cent of his own money to Trump, that would be reason enough to disqualify O'Brien from running a union. But donating the union's money to a radically anti-union candidate is outright treasonous to the labor movement.
5
Russia is proving right now why NATO still exists.
4
@douglascarlson9006 You mean "the trucker's convoy" that was 100% astroturf?
4
@Hunter-mu7sp Keystone pipeline jobs? You mean all twelve of them? Because that's how many jobs the Keystone pipeline would've created.
3
Because politics are literally a matter of life and death.
3
@crhu319 A vote held at gunpoint is not valid. And yes, a majority of Crimea is ethnic Russia (because Russian genocided the native Tatars and sent in Russian colonists to replace them). But it's not 97% Russian.
3
@rap3208 It literally was a vote held at gunpoint. That's not metaphorical. There was literally an invading army that was conducting the "referendum".
3
@jimenycricket8431 Calling it "international piracy/terrorism" is laughable. Would you also use those descriptions for Ukraine's sinking of the Moskva?
3
The lesson to learn from America is to never vote for a "conservative" party.
2
Hersh isn't one of them.
2
@glanmire1 You could say that, but you'd be full of crap.
2
@douglascarlson9006 Given that the convoy's goal (trying to force an end to vaccine mandates) is an unambiguously bad thing, why do you treat that as something admirable?
2
@svenhanson398 No, the self-appointed "people's republic" governments (elected by absolutely no one) who claimed to represent Donbas asked. The actual people of Dongas did not.
2
She's a Kremlin shill. She's also a 9/11 Truther and thinks that fluoridation poisons Americans. She's a kook who Russia found to be useful.
2
Nobody ever gave any consideration of "placing nukes 5 minutes from Moscow". Where do you come up with this nonsense?
2
A wealth of disinformation, more like.
1
@TrumpsEarBandage The "BLM riots" that never existed, because what actually happened was peaceful BLM protesters getting attacked and murdered by MAGA thugs like the Proud Boys.
1
@gustavodutra2817 Funny how in Brazil, it's been the right "using and abusing public institutions to persecute, censor, prosecute and destroy political opposition to them". That's how they kept Lula off the ballot in 2018, to ensure that Bolsonaro could win.
1
Medea Benjamin opens up by mentioning "how close Ukraine and Russia have been for centuries" but ignores that this connection was completely against the will of the Ukrainian people. Russia has been Ukraine's oppressor for centuries. That is the connection between Russia and Ukraine. Chris Hedges claims that "promises were made not to expand NATO beyond the border of a unified Germany" and insists that "This is a historical fact." In reality it's a historical lie. Gorbachev himself publicly admitted that he was never given any such promise. Medea then claims that NATO was transformed form a defensive to offensive alliance, by falsely claiming there was an invasion of Libya and ignoring the fact that NATO involvement in Afghanistan was because Afghanistan attacked a NATO member. As for negotiating with Putin, the fact that the US has negotiated with him in the past is precisely how we know that it doesn't work. Putin always violates the terms of any deals he agrees to. When you open the discussion with blatant lies like this, is there really even a point in listening to the rest of what you've got to say?
1
@billusher2265 The idea that unions could make inroads with Republicans is a complete fantasy. You don't understand how much Republicans despise labor. It's not mere indifference, and it's not just corporate bigwigs wanting maximized profit. Republicans actively want workers to suffer.
1
Jail the Bozo-Nazi.
1
You're missing the point. What matters is that his very presence at the RNC was harmful to unions, but making it seem like the Republicans are something other than what they actually are: the most radically anti-labor political party to ever exist.
1
@dennybarton3256 Who cares what Oliver Stone says? Russia is the the most corrupt country in the world. And Abby Martin is a Kremlin stooge. Along with being a crackpot who thinks that Israel did the 9/11 attacks and that water fluoridation is plot to poison Americans.
1
@larissasiqueira9625 How is it different from the USA? The electoral system did not change in 2020, no matter how loudly MAGAts scream that it was.
1
@DM-sg7di You mean the "corruption scandals" that were trumped up by corrupt right-wingers in order to keep Lula off the ballot in 2018, since they knew he would've beaten Bolsonaro then too?
1
@Oscar-ds2vb No, the war happened because Russia has no interest in peace. They want to conquer Ukraine.
1
@sorzin2289 That's simply false.
1
@svenhanson398 Donbas did not in any way "ask" Russia to act. And the sham "People's Republics" that "declared independence from Ukraine" were never in any way representative of the actual people of Donbas. And Baud is a Kremlin propagandist.
1
@svenhanson398 Your "reality" isn't honest at all. It involves you lying to yourself to fit your pre-conceived notions. And yes, Jacques Baud is very much a Kremlin propagandist.
1
Yes, a clear victory. Are you seriously trying to claim that BolsoNazi didn't really lose because he came close? Also, it wasn't a margin of "less than 1%". Try to learn math.
1
@DM-sg7di No, you're "protesting" to demand a military coup that would install Bolsonaro as dictator.
1
@DM-sg7di Bozo-Nazi most certainly does not "defend freedom of expression". He has his armed thugs go after his opposition.
1
Yes, both of those were indeed clear victories. With Biden's win also being a landslide.
1
He clearly is not a man with integrity, because he's lying his ass off in this interview.
1
It doesn't matter if his speech was great. Simply being there helps the Republicans obscure how anti-union they are.
1
@kipincharge2833 The so-called "civil war" in Ukraine was entirely created by Russia. It's "Mother Russia" that's doing the raping.
1
@ChrisSmith-bh2hg Aaron Mate is a Kremlin stooge.
1
Yes NaZi, it's clear.
1
60,345,999 is more than 58,206,354. So yes, it's a clear win.
1
You mean when your Dear Leader who always rambles on incoherently got beat in a landslide, Jimmy?
1
Also, Bozo-Nazi and his followers didn't "have a suspicion that it would be fixed". They simply decided in advance that they'll claim the election is fixed if their guy loses.
1
More like thousands of BolsoNazis demanding a military coup to install Bolosnaro as dictator.
1
@barrieroberts75 Minsk 2 is itself an act of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
1
@jimenycricket8431 The idea that anyone should be indignant about the destruction of a Russian pipeline (trying to frame it as being "German infrastructure" is bullshit) is nonsense. And I for one couldn't possibly care less who actually blew it up.
