@patrickbooth5091 Kavanaugh told several provable lies under oath during his confirmation hearing. Some related to the sexual assault allegations, some on completely different subjects. But the fact that he overtly lied in the process of denying sexual assault gives a good reason to think that the denial itself was also a lie.

@eddietheberniebro5503 There are no "other 8". You hack.

@bellablondie712 But what did she tell her mother at the time? Given that her mother mentions nothing about sexual assault or sexual harassment in that Larry King call, and her mother died 4 years ago so nobody can ask her, we have no way of knowing what Reade actually told her at the time. The court filing by her ex says she told him of being sexually harassed in Biden's office, but doesn't mention sexual assault and doesn't mention whether Biden himself was involved. Bear in mind that she also accused her ex-husband of being a serial killer and of raping babies. So it could just be that she's nuts.

@bellablondie712 The problem is, how can it be investigated? It's not like there's going to be physical evidence to uncover, 30 years after the fact. If the assault actually happened, no one witnessed it other than Reade and Biden. And who could be trusted to do the investigation? Certainly not Trump's DOJ.

@patrickbooth5091 There aren't any confirmation hearings for the President. We have an election for that.

@erikjarandson5458 Essentially none of what you said here is true.

@jamespower5165 The thing about human memory is, it's highly suggestible. That ex-neighbor came forward after Reade called her up and "reminded" her about their conversation 25 years ago. Perhaps the conversation really did happen and this simply jogged the neighbor's memory, or maybe it didn't happen and upon being told that it had happened her mind just filled in the blanks and created a false memory.

The Larry King call that doesn't in any way line up with what Reade claims happened. The brother who originally said he was only told about "harassment" at the time, but then changed his story to say actually she told him at the time that it was sexual assault. And the neighbor who was called up a couple months ago and "reminded" by Reade that she's told her about a sexual assault back in the 90s. So Reade's "evidence" is flimsy at best. Also, as you should be well aware, if Reade actually filed a complaint, that complaint wouldn't become part of Biden's personal papers. The complaint would've been filed with the Senate itself, not with Biden. Do you actually believe that if a Senate staffer got raped, they would have to file the complaint with their rapist? Reade never actually filed a complaint, that's the only plausible explanation for the Senate not having it.

@SteilLaw The burden of proof is inherently on the accuser. And the "file search" being demanded is for a place where Reade's complaint could not possibly be.
1
@SteilLaw Also, "filed together"? Are you illiterate or just stupid? If Reade actually filed a complaint against Biden, Biden would not be the one in possession of that complaint. If a complaint is filed against a Senator, the complainant does not hand the complaint to the Senator they're complaining against.
1
@SteilLaw How on Earth is Biden "defenseless"? You believe that because you want to believe. The reality is that all Reade has provided are accusations, not evidence.
1
@erikjarandson5458 Not a surprise that you would think that's a reliable news source.

@erikjarandson5458 They were pushing Tara Reade's false accusation as if it were true for months. When more legitimate journalists have looked into it, Reade's story fell apart.

In what way is Nina Turner qualified for the job?

@AiguilleVoodoo There's a big difference between not telling the full story at first, and telling a completely different and contradictory story at first.
