  1.  Al Egator  Trump absolutely was told. The Trump administration is overtly lying every time they claim he wasn't. And in what way is Trump "trying to get out of the Mid East"? If he wants to get the US out of the Mid East, he could just do it. I haven't seen troops leaving Iraq. Contrary to what Trump claimed when abandoning the Kurds to genocide by the Turks, troops didn't leave Syria either. The troops were just moved south to let the Turks and Russians have their way. And massively escalating with Iran by scrapping the peace treaty and assassinating their top general is not a way to get out of the Mid East. Likewise for Afghanistan. If Trump is going to "get us out of Afghanistan", why hasn't he actually done it yet? He's had almost 4 years, how long does it take him to even start leaving if it's what he actually intends to do? And it's Russia that's actually waging war against the US. Ignoring them as they do so won't make them stop.

  2. @Bronson Kaahui There's supposedly "no consensus" on the basis that Trump and his spokesmen claim there's no consensus. There very clearly does seem to be a consensus within the actual intelligence community.
