  1. They're illustrating that the Senate was the worst mistake of the Founders. (I say this even with slavery as an issue, because the Senate is what allowed slavery to survive all the way to 1865.)

  3.  @aljoschalong625  I would say that at this point, Dershowitz and Turley shouldn't be considered "legal scholars" at all. Simply having a law degree doesn't make a person a "legal scholar", it just makes them a lawyer. None of what those two do is remotely scholarly.
