  1.  @lebeaumuni6247  Yes. Evangelicals are at least four times more likely to be racist than the rest of the American population. I'd wager that it's a lot more than four times. Most of the "white Evangelical" churches are inextricably tied to white supremacy.

  2. You say that the answer isn't simply racism, and go on to explain that white Evangelicals are a major reason why Republicans get a majority of the white vote. But the vast majority of white Evangelicals are racists.
