  1. @Kevin Michael Elon Musk is the Thomas Edison the 21st century. Making a fortune on other people's inventions and claiming the credit for said inventions. (Well aside from the fact that Edison probably wouldn't have bankrolled something as ridiculous and obviously non-viable as "hyperloop".)

  2. 7:07 Elon Musk might not agree with the hardcore MAGA cult on every issues, but he very much is an extreme right-wing nut. The fact that he sells electric cars and is obsessed with space travel doesn't make him any less of a right-winger. The reason Musk is cozying up with Republicans is that he got exposed as being a blatant racist (no surprise given that he's an Apartheid-era South African Boer) and hates unions, neither of which are acceptable stances to Democrats but are a perfect fit with Republicans.
