  7.  @christopheroliver148  It's the opposite. Traditionally (dating back about 800 years), "doctor" has been an academic title for people with a PhD or equivalent degree. Physicians being referred to as "doctor" is much more recent. After all, it's a much more recent thing for doctors to even be expected to have a college degree.

For that matter, the Columbia should completely shut down the "Integrative Medicine Center" that he's the director of, seeing as the very concept of integrative medicine refers to "integrating" quackery with with real medicine. And the state of Pennsylvania should revoke his medical license. Mehmet Oz claims that he's being "cancelled". Well he fucking should be, for being a snake oil peddler.
