  1. Here in Tennessee, fear of COVID-19 is valid reason to get an absentee ballot. Our entire Republican-dominated state government opposed that measure, but it was forced by a court order. Unfortunately, this means there's still a risk of a higher court overturning the order before the general election. That said, Tennessee is part of Trumptardistan, so it's not likely that mail-in voting will actually result in good candidates getting elected.
