  1. The funniest parts aren't even the mental competency test, it's that Trump apparently thinks that (1) being President requires physical strength and (2) that he is physically fit himself. Also, Crist was a Republican when he was governor of Florida. And as far as DeSantis not running until 2028, the problem with that idea from his perspective would be he has no idea if he'll still be this prominent in the Republican Party in four years. Just look at what happened to Chris Christie. In 2012, the Republicans were portraying him as their rising star, but he opted not to run. And when he did run in 2016, it amounted to absolutely nothing. The fact of the matter is, if there's a lot of buzz about a candidate potentially running for President, there's very rarely any upside to them passing on the current election and then running again in the next one.
