@Prince-jb7pv if they really were just greedy then they are dirt bags but honestly I empathize with being abused and hating and or living in fear of your parents

@Prince-jb7pv the buying was also considered to be normal behavior so the theory is they were trying to look less suspicious or they went on a shopping spree as one last hurrah before they were locked away
