  2. US got really rich while other countries were still poor or war torn and at some point we surpassed Britain so we looked like we were insanely wealthy until other countries caught up to us

  3. Omg these videos are lists of specific places usually bad lol we had white flight from the cities in the 1960s and deindustrialization and forgotten rural areas so we have poor country and inner city people but lots of us white people live in suburbs where people live really well

  42. He said Alabama is poorest in developed world but I saw an article that said the average British person earns the same as an average Alabama resident and something tells me places like southern Italy or Andalusia are poorer lol
