  3.  @zaklina.4822  If anything, it has become safer. Both from statistical data and from personal impressions. The 90s were a strange time, especially because reunification really shook things up. I grew up in the east of Germany and it really wasn't nice at times. People were angry with everyone and everything that didn't come from their region or didn't benefit them directly. Of course, people let themselves be goaded by all sorts of things, then as now. So just because the "cries" are getting louder again, it usually has nothing to do with the facts. Furthermore, personal experiences and conclusions can never be generalized.

  7. Exactly, the problem is that the "extremes" is what is always reported on. Nobody cares about people getting along and doing great. Ofc there is racism, as in any other country in the world. In my opinion this has nothing to do with race but "being different". So people always react in a different way, if they see somebody not fitting the "norm". It's tribalism in its core.

  13. Well we have far better stuff to watch then this halfassed documentary... If racisms is so bad in germany, show me the criminal statistics on that. It is all public information, just look it up, come back and tell me about how "bad" germany really is...
