@snowflakemelter7171 But this only works is a slowly changing world. Most german politicians have no clue about modern technology or science. And they arent very interested in so subjects, because of "the good old times" and "we made it like that for the last 50 years". They mayor parties losing members not because of people leaving but of people dying...

Yeah and lots of them. It maybe hard for you to understand, with your "facebook FACTS" about germany.

Well the problem is not exactly the lack of young people in politics. Atleast for me the problem is, that nobody really "cares" about the younger generation ( lets say from 20-40 ). You are important as child, because the parties need your parents to vote for them. And when you're older, because everybody wants there retirement money and lots of it, here aswell its important to get them to vote for their party. In between it doesnt reallly matter, you work, pay your taxes but in a political sense, there is not much going on for this age group.

@fallenz3931 What do you mean be "immigrant", only a german citizen can vote. So whats you point exactly? That people that are from other cultures but still german citizens dont have the right to vote?
1
@fallenz3931 Your are implying alot... What if this and what if that... If he is a germany citizen he can vote and can be elected. Thats the point, he CAN be elected. And if a large part of the population votes for him or his party, thats a democratic process... Nothing more, nothing less.
1
@fallenz3931 Well then he wont be elected... Thats the point... Its called DEMOCRACY... So by your logic, your opening statement is wrong... Maybe talk about stuff in your country, that you are familiar with. Not about countries you never visited and make assumptions you cant back up.
1
@fallenz3931 How does that fit in with your " In Germany soon immigratnts will be "Presidents" and Prime Minister's ??? He is not rich and he is not the elite. You live in a fantasyworld and assume its the reality. Your arguments dont make sense. ^^

WP WW Maybe show me a statistic that proves your point. Would be interesting to see all different ethnicities and their precentage of the whole population.

Why not?

@snowflakemelter7171 Thats a problem in all of society not just politics.
1
@snowflakemelter7171 And politicians ARE a part of the society... So it still applies.
1
@snowflakemelter7171 How so?
1
@snowflakemelter7171 So? They are still citizens, have to follow all the rules all other germans have to follow too... They are not above the law or something special. They are citizens elected to represent the whole population of german. Nothing more, nothing less.
