  16.  @sevwoz8342  You know that most of the people who got "out of poverty" are working in the big cities... So there is rent to pay. Live is expensive, even in china. Why is it that most of those people work 12hr a day, just to pay rent and the little they have left for food?

Chinese workers are cheap slaves for the system, a small percentage is profiting from the system in china. Sure they have more money but they have to spend more also. Sure it is better then under Mao but thats not hard... To be honest, most of the world is better, then china was under Mao's leadership. There is nothing democratic about china, its a dictatorship. Nothing more nothing less. If one does not live like he is supposed to, he gets in trouble really quick.

  18.  @imasupersmartmartian5161  The problem is, many poor countries have a pretty corrupt leadership. Thats why even countries with great resources like Congo, are still poor and suffer. Its not the west thats holding them back, its their government.
