Chinese respect for german businesses? WTF are you talking about...

Klingt toll oder? Auch wenn die Fakten an den Haaren herbeigezogen und vollkommen verdreht dargestellt werden. Aber solands zum Weltbild passt ist das vollkommen in Ordnung.

Germany still doing good... Thanks :)

To make that connection is stupid on so many levels... He was the finance minister of a German federal state (Hessen) and not of Germany. And of course, as finance minister, he was always concerned about how the economy was developing (no surprise there). And no, he never said anything about an “American threat” to the German or global economy.

@PhilipBaker-sf4yv Goes pretty good for the UK after Brexit.

@user-hk3bx5cu7j Why should nobody complain about the government? If you vote for one thing and they do another? Nice logic there mate.

So if 70% of companies relocated abroad, how come the unemployement numbers are still at around 6%? Those "relocations" were in place long before 2022 but that does not fit the narrative that "The German industry is dead" ... The problem for german manufacturing is not high energy costs but the lack of a skilled workers.

Did not know Habeck was in power over the last two decades.

After the cold war, the US did not want Germany to have a strong military. Because by their explanation, there was no longer any reason to have one.

I did and it's utter trash. And now what should I do?
1
Because it's utter garbage. Companies "relocated" their production for decades now, this is nothing new. The german industry doing pretty good. The companies with the highest energy consumption receive subsidized electricity prices... If the situation really was that bad, why is the unemployment rate still at ~ 6%? The biggest problem for german companies is not energy cost but the lack of skilled workers.

@vaska1999 No we are not :) You know the history and accept the lessons you have to learn from it. But I'm not personally guilty of this and I don't have to bend over backwards for it. You might have to update your view of "german people"... Sorry.

You really thought you get that? Sorry...

Where do you find a connection between an American company and the “free world” ? Did the US kill the employee?
1
@Tabula_Rasa1 Burning suburbs and a general strike every 3 weeks?

@tellmemoreplease9231 Ofc no one talkes about "this" because it's totally inflated nonsense. German companies moved alot of production abroad years and decades ago. If the german industry was hit sooo hard in 2022 why is the unemployment still at ~ 6%? You simply take the worst figures you can find in recent years and make them the current status. Then you draw your conclusions from these false figures to create the desired picture. And people jump on it because people like to get upset about things even if they have no idea about them.

@svr5423 Applying for Bafög.... It's not as if you don't know months in advance when you should apply for Bafög... Sounds like laziness to me.

@sorenstirling8795 "The region of Thuringia posted a doubling of energy prices the day the last power plant was shut down." As a fellow german might I ask for a source please.
