@simplynomadic393 to me it just seems like people who wear those clothes are distancing themselves from us Europeans and Americns. I would not feel comfortable to talk and laugh and have fun with someone who is covered like that, I would feel I have to be very very careful not to say something wrong in her presence. I would feel awkward.

I think alot about what you wrote,about the loneliness of single people. In my family(here in my country, Finland) we were two sisters and our parents, we played lots of boardgames too and had fun as a family. As an adult I'm single with two grown up boys, who already have their own homes. I am alone alot but I kind of like it! I never stay over night at friends homes as I prefer to come home to my own home and watch tv,youtube, go for walks, cafeterias, whatever! I wish you'll start enjoying beeing by yourself too, get a hobby or start photographing, painting, something fun! I'm busy right now planning to start painting in oilcolours! I would not by any means want to come home from work and be forced to start planning dinner with 10 neighbors, never! Alone is good, it really is!

@simplynomadic393 yes you are absolutely right and I know I am not alone with my feelings. We are so many who feel awkward and not ourselves around these people. We prefer to stick to our own, wich is understandable. I wonder if I'd move to Afghanistan or Iran and dressed as a European, would I get any real friends? Or ould they feel unnatural around me? Because I would not hide my hair and I would wear makeup.

@simplynomadic393 you can be forced to in different ways, either litterally beeing forced to OR mentally beeing forced to. Mentally means you would feel alone and left out if you don't wear it, your friends parents might not let their daughters be with you if you dress in tight jeans and a top. Or your father or brothers might ask their friends to harass you to make you feel you "want" to dress in the Arabic-Muslim way all covered up. Then if someone ask you "were you forced?" of course you answer "no I chose to", but truely; you had no other choice.

I had an outdoor childhood here in my country, Finland, in the 70's, always playing outside until it got dark, hide-and-seek, climbing trees and rocks, having secret clubs(inspired by Enid Blytons books!) and also in winter playing outside in the deep snow and then go inside and having to change all our clothes and putting them to dry. Then lying on the bed reading a book until we had to close the lights. Oh those memories...oh, and we caught frogs too, in the summer, and kept them in shoeboxes a day or two until our parents noticed them and had us go release them back into the pond!

How lucky they are when they decided to turn off the internet, wonderful, REAL life, as it was back in the 70's and 80's❤️

@LL-yb6xl thank you andyouare partly right and I give you the same advice; try to integrate yourself in our coulture and accept our clothing, maybe you will even like it!

@LL-yb6xl maybe, and the other way around also of course! If I wear shorts and a top in Afghanistan I assume everyone will accept me in this multicultural world!

@channahnoyb4803 not true. In my country, Scandinavia, our parents signs us into the Christian Lutheran church when we are beeing babtised at about six-eight weeks. Then at age 14 we can confirm staying in that religion or we can just say we don't confirm it but we stay anyway. OR, we can sign out from it.

@ITSNAIMAD it's ahuge difference to beeing born into it and beeing forced to live as a Muslim, to serve your brothers, to obey your parents...or to decide when your about 20yrs to start beeing a Muslim! Everyone looks up to you and treats you nice for wanting to join them...you never get to know what it had felt like to live in a Muslim family.
