@sarat6723 could you,if it was your son or daughter? As a parent you cling to every little "proof" orsign that it wasn't your child, you just can't comprehend it, you might somehow start to accept it but you protect yourself from the horrible truth as long as you can. Parents should not be blamed for it, for protecting and believing in their son. To us it's weird and sickening when the facts are obvious but to them itis beyond what they can take in, it destroystheir lifes and it's a horrible shame to live with. I would move far away, start a new life with a new name, never be heard from again.

@stevemcraemanager7119 o does every American,small chance to find a murderer who's parent's DON'T believe in God. In fact I think it's like finding a needle in a haystack.

@LyndaLand okay,but if I compare with my country, in Scandinavia, I feel that in America it's always about God, "in God we trust" and "swearing on the Bible" and going to church on Sunday and "God's miracle" when someone survives a difficult sickness and "God works in mysterious ways" and so on. We don't have any of that, very few are religious here. We celebrate X-asas a tradition ad we believe in doctors and in the body's ability to sometimes heal itself when all locig hope is gone. And we believe in destiny, if we get lost but find the way to the airport in the last minutes.

Wich is understandable, must be awful,sickening, to know your son is a murderer.

I am so happy that Sherry's parents were able to bury their daughter and grandsons nearer to their home. Would be even better if they re-named them to their familyname, so they wouldn't have to see the murderer's name on the grave every time they go to the graves. Shannan's parents refused to have the name Watts on their daughter's and grandkid's graves.

He didn't even care that a compleat innocent,random neighbour was going to find his dead family. That alone shows what he is.

@jaysteve4442 and both obviously didn't feel any love or affection for their own children.

@Adelicows I agree, it is understandable,allthough frustrating. I think most of us would be in denial.

@stephaniepiazzese2602 in other words, if I committ a crime I take full responsibility of it,I don't blame it on a devil or bad parenting or beglect, I have a free will and I use it to make decisions for myself. Weather it's good decisions or bad decisions. You should try it!

What a shame that the sweet wife met THIS guy and started a family with him. She was worth so much more, a good husband who'd love her and their kids.

@lyetaherb4703 well,every American is religious at least on some level

@lyetaherb4703 how come??
1
@lyetaherb4703 yes,I agree,but a huge part of Americans are believers, maybe without morals and all that,but whatever little or big thing happens they give a huge thank to God, wich indicates they are believers.

@timothywilliams1359 both would be the same horror, in both cases you lose your child,even if you live in a country where a murderer gets out after a few yeats, what kind of life with your child will you have after that? You can never speak about him to your friends cause no one wants to hear anything about him,to them he is evil, you will be alone "celebrating" if he marries or has children. Imagine telling yourfriends you're a grandmother...

@josephhornung3700 I agree but it depends on the case, and on the relationship the parents have had on their son/daughter through the years, and on the state of mind the child has been in and also if the parents realize THEY might be the reason why the son/daughter did it(cold parenting, much too hard discipline, not helping when knowing the child is in desparate need of help like money or medical care) or whatever. I know my brains would rush through myself trying to see if I could have prevented it😢
