Good for you, what if your spouse would be abusive, and you would be scared to death for yourspouse to find out..or what if you had been raped and hated the child inside of you and just wanted to get rid of it???? ABORTION was invented to help motherless children to not have to be born!!! Here you see what happens when motherless children ARE allowed to be born: they go look for their birth mother!!! So, if you can't keep your baby, ABORT IT!!!

exactly. that's why it's called adoption. You are given away for life. No "return to sender"-rights. Adoption exists so that women who gets pregnant against their will(rape,incest,stupidness...)can give birth to the child(not abortion,or suicide) knowing they don't have to keep the baby. And luckily for couples that can't have children,to know there are children to adopt. So why make so big fuzz about the mothers who gave their babies up for adoption? it benefits all of us in a positive way! The mother gives up the baby so don't push yourself back into her life! she didn't want you then,she doesn't want you now!! She would be embarrassed and regretful or an alcoholic or a famous person,she has no obligations to you once she signed the papers! she is not a bad cold person,if she was she would have given birth to the baby in a hidden place and killed it and buried it.

@dallasbagley I mean that fine if someone is happy to reunite with the child they gave up but those who don't should get just as much understanding, because they have reason for not wanting to be found!

Mal Mort well,not to die,she left him in a box so he had at least some shelter around him. She wanted him to be found. She didnt throw him in the garbage or left him somewhere he couldnt be found. I feel sorry for her,she did a decision she might have regretted but that she can't mend anymore.

v ttd she didn't have abortion, instead she let him live, and now shehas to payfor it. People hate her for abandoning her baby. She SHOULD have had an abortion, noone would ever have known, and no child would have been alive to track her down. I would NEVER abandon or give away my unwanted baby, I would abort it and never think about it again. Problem solved.

@GhostRider-xi3pb exactly,and birthmothers should not be tracked down and expected to be overjoyed to be found,leave them,they had a reason and probably was very hard for them to give up their child(or have the chikd taken by authorities) but it was the only solution and now they have gone on with their lifes and should not be bothered and also,the adoptive parents are so happy to get a child to love and take care of so it is a win-win situation and noone should be blamed or should have to feel guilty.

@paullafferty1411 they gave up their parental rights when they abandoned their baby, now the baby is not their problem anymore, it's up to the adoptive parents to take over, what the birth- mom couldn't do!!! Why don't you instead blame the adoptive parents who never succeeded to fill the gap in their afopted baby's life???

One thing I wonder about: if its supposed to be possible to give a baby away anonymously,then why is it legal for people to help you hunt down your anonymous birthparents with the dna??? This way mothers will stop taking their babies to baby-drops or whatever its called,where you can legally abandon your newborn baby. They will start killing them or selling them or something,to make sure they never be traced,like the birthmother was traced in this story.
