I too believe that worthless mistress was involved in some way BUT, we have to remember that Chris could very well have manipulated himself(in the same way a stalker would) in his sick mind that she WANTED him to get rid of his family to prove to her how much he loved her. She might not even have been in love with him THAT much but in his mind she was...you know how stalkers believe their victim actually feels the same way as they do. Somehow she gives the impression(in the investigatings that we've seen)that she liked him, had a crush on him but didn't actually LOVE or be that much in love with him. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.
